Parker is thought to have been on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers in the War Years. He played two games for Leeds United in the 1945-46 Football League Northern Section, the opening game of that campaign in a 1-3 defeat by Chesterfield at Saltergate and the return game the following week at Elland Road which resulted in a 1-3 defeat also. He joined Third Division North Crewe Alexandra after the Second World War and played once in his first season of 1947-48 and followed this by seventeen appearances in his final season of 1948-49. He died in 1953.
