Central defender Ross Killock graduated through the Leeds United Academy and after scoring three goals in twenty appearances for the Under-Eighteen team as well playing several times for the Reserves, he signed his first professional contract for one year with the club in June 2012. But impressive displays earned himanother one year extension which he signed in April 2013. After playing for the Leeds Academy team at Alfreton Town on 21st July 2012 he joined them on loan for four months and soon became a regular in their Blue Square Premier Division side, starting fourteen League games and also having one game from the bench as well as two starts in the F.A. Cup before returning to Elland Road on 1st March 2013. After his return he played regularly with the Development Squad team, making thirteen starts, and he ended the season on a high when he was an unused Substitute in United's final League game of the season at Watford on 4th May 2013. He was included in Central Defence in the first team for their first friendly of the 2013-14 pre-season, on 6th July at Farsley AFC, playing the first forty-five minutes, and was then included in the travelling party for the 2013-14 pre-season tour to Slovenia. He played the second half of the first game against a Slovenian XI (Pomerje XI), which Leeds won 3-1. He played the final thirty minutes of their second game of the tour on 13th July, when the were defeated 1-2 by FC Domzale, but was not included in the final game against Ferencvaros and rejoined the Development Squad team for the rest of the pre-season. He made four starts for the Leeds Under-Twenty-One team and went on loan to Chester from 24th October 2013 to the end of the season, starting seventeen times for them in the National League, scoring twice in a 1-1 draw at home to Gateshead on 28th December 2013 and in a 3-3 draw at Nuneaton on 1st March 2014. The following season he scored twice in seventeen starts for the Leeds Under-Twenty-Ones and was three times on the bench for the first team, in the opening League game at Millwall on 9th August 2014, in the League Cup home game with Accrington Stanley, three days later and in the Third Round F.A. Cup defeat at Sunderland on 4th January 2016. He was loaned to Halifax Town, and after being an unused substitute at Telford United on 27th January 2015 he made his debut for them in a 3-2 home win over Dover on 14th February 2015, but it was to be his final game in his loan spell. He went on loan to Stockport County from 6th November 2015 until the end of the season He made his debut in a 1-3 home defeat by Chorley the following day in the National League, but was not a regular and did not feature in any games for Leeds that season. He was released by United at the end of the season. He signed for Chester on 1st July 2016 but had not made any appearances by the end of August.
