Little is known about Norman Wildon, but it was thought that he was on the books of Middlesbrough. He played one game for Leeds United in the 1942-43 Football League Northern Section Second Championship at Inside Left in the 1-3 defeat at Elland Road against Newcastle United on 20th March 1943. It is not thought that Wildon played professionally in the Football League.
